Souvenir Shop closing

The souvenir shop that opened days before Inauguration two years ago (though it feels like yesterday) is apparently closing.

After months of signs saying they are closing soon, having a going-out-of-business sale, etc. etc., the shop has finally put up a big sign that says "FINAL DAYS."

So go grab all the souvenirs you can while it lasts.  Of course, there will still be a multitude of other shops, including Joe's new shop on F street that took the place of Central Liquors (which moved to E street).

More importantly to Penn Quarter residents, what is going to take this prime location next to Carmine's?  The space is big and the last thing we need is a huge vacant space directly across the street from the already vacant Wagamama space.
