Metro is hosting a system-wide collection day tomorrow for the electronics that are collecting dust in your apartment: bring your used cell phones, digital cameras, iPods, laptops, etc. to the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro stop so that George Washington University's
GW+Phones=Hope campaign can recycle them to fund maternal and child health mobile technology projects in Mali, Malawi, and Nepal.
Volunteers will be on hand at fifteen different metro stations from 7a to 9:30a.
