MPD Needs Your Help

Did you witness a crime at 7th and H around 3:20am on June 5th?  Or, do you recognize any of the individuals in the video below? From the MPD:
The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public's assistance in identifying individuals depicted in a surveillance video just prior to a violent attack on a passerby.  The subjects are depicted at a bus stop at the intersection of 7th and H Streets, NW, at approximately 3:20 AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2012.  Subsequent to the attack, the individuals are pictured standing on the sidewalk on the north side of H Street, near its intersection with 6th Street, NW.
If you are able to identify any of the individuals depicted in this video or have information about the incident or are aware of other crimes committed by these individuals, do not take action but please contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to 50411.

We know that these occurrences happen far too frequently - as we reported last week, there are an average of three crimes in Penn Quarter/Chinatown every day.  Community involvement is a great tool to help combat crimes such as this one: take a quick look at the video to see if you can help.
