Want to help the homeless (and maybe also see Mike Isabella while you're at it?)DC Central Kitchen has partnered with Venga in their Stuff the Bus initiative. Today you can catch them at 7th and F to donate the following:
canned tomatoes (stewed, diced, paste)
canned beans
boxed pasta
granola bars, trail mix
applesauce, fruit cups
The bus (and Isabella) will be there until 3, so hurry on down!
Don't have food with you today? You can catch them in front of Chef Geoff's on Wednesday, or use the virtual market that is set up next to the bus to donate.
$5 = 1/2 dozen heads of hydroponic bibb lettuce
$10= 1 free range roaster chicken
$25= 1 case of plump Shenandoah Valley tomatoes
$50= 80 servings of hormone free, pasture raised local ground beef
