We perused the Chicago location's menu (there are three Townhouses in existence already - two in Illinois and one in California) and it looks to be bar food with both Spanish and Asian influences. For example, you can start with an order of sangria poached pears or crabcakes a la plancha, and move on to the miso glazed cod, or the Thai barbecue salmon. Townhouse targets Spring 2012 for their opening.

You make it sound as if Chicago has seceded from Illinois. I hope you're right, there's nothing worthwhile south of I-80.
ReplyDeleteAh, nothing against our friends in the Windy City, just a dumb typo. Our mistake - two in Illinois, the third in California.
