Paul is getting some competition. French bakery
Le Pain Quotidien is coming to
Penn Quarter at
10th and
F Streets N.W., right next to
St. Patrick's Church.
Their bread is made with organic stone-ground flour, salt, and water, kneaded and shaped by hand.
Their menu includes many different types of bread, as well as tartines, salads, and other specialties. The bakery also offers bakery classes at their other U.S. locations.

The bakery already has a presence in Washington,with locations on
17th Street N.W., and in
Georgetown,
Dupont Circle,
Capitol Hill,
Alexandria,
Bethesda,
Spring Valley, and
Clarendon. About time they made their way to Penn Quarter!
