For the
third time this week, authorities have been dispatched to a Penn Quarter restaurant to review a suspicious powder.
As we speak, the
Joint Terrorism Task Force, the
Defense Sciences Office, and the
Explosive Ordinance Disposal is at
Bibiana (12th and H)
responding to a report of an envelope containing white powder. These packages have been discovered in many area of the United States recently, and each has been declared harmless, but we are glad to see the response efforts move so quickly. For now, avoid the area - H Street is closed between 11th and 13th.
