Contract required to eat at Rogue 24

In July, we wrote about Rogue 24, the Minibar impostor (with 52 seats) coming to 9th and N Streets.

Now, DCist is reporting that in order to get a reservation at Rogue 24, you must sign a contract.  The contract does not allow cameras, cell phones, or tweeting.  Sort of odd since the restaurant is on twitter and facebook.

There are also significant penalties for missing your reservation.  If you cancel within 72 hours of your reservation, you have to pay half of the check.  Cancelling the day of or showing up 30 minutes late means you have to pay the entire check - without getting a bite.  The menu is prix fixe and can run $175.  See the pricing structure on our former post here.

A copy of the contract from Eater DC is available here.
