Be careful on metro

Life in Mount Vernon Square reports an alleged mugging at the Gallery Place metro station today.  The mugger was a woman in her 30's.

Gallery Place has had its share of crime.  With robberies on the street above the station, pickpockets and disappearing purses, and even a couple assaults with a knife in the station in August. 

The Archives/Navy Memorial stop has not seen the same problems, either in volume or seriousness of the offense.
