New X9 Express Bus

On December 19, Metro is introducing a new express bus that will go from the Capitol Heights Metro Station to Metro Center.

Why does this matter to you?

Well, the bus will stop at 7th and H in the heart of Penn Quarter (as well as 11th and 13th streets (and 9th street on the way back)) and will be an easy way to get to the many restaurants and bars on H Street N.E.  The bus will stop at 8th and 14th Street on H Street N.E.

It will also stop at Benning Road and 19th Street N.E., which is about a 15 minute walk to RFK stadium.
