Carmine's gets an awning

Carmine's has a new awning that stretches across the sidewalk from their door to the street.

The awning certainly will make it easier for those who valet their cars to make it into the restaurant without getting wet.

Does it cause an obstruction on the sidewalk?  Or is it unsightly when looking down 7th street?
