New restaurant to be named "Velour"

We reported last week about the new restaurant coming from the people who brought us Corduroy - and it will be next door.

DCist reports that the restaurant will be called Velour.

It will be about a year before it opens, and will be located on 9th Street between L and M, just north of Penn Quarter.
