D.C. record fair comes to Penn Quarter Feb. 12th

You may think you have stumbled upon the archives of Penn Quarter Insider, but you haven't.  There are still record fairs, it turns out, and the D.C. Record Fair will take place Sunday, February 12th in Penn Quarter at Riot Act.

Two previous D.C. record fairs have taken place, though outside of the District.  Now the record fair comes home to the heart of our city.

There will be forty dealers on both floors of Riot Act with tons of records.  There will also be food and drinks to make your record wheeling and dealing more pleasurable.

The event will be capped off with several DJs mixing records of their own, the DJ schedule is as follows:

11:00 – 12:00 DJ Pari | Soulpower RVA
12:00 – 1:00 Sean Marquand | Phenomenal Handclap Band
1:00 – 2:00 Patrick Kigongo | Ra Ra Rasputin
2:00 – 3:00 Cerphe Colwell | Cerphe’s Progressive Show
3:00 – 4:00 Will Eastman | Volta Bureau
4:00 – 5:00 DJ Roz | Champion Sounds

The cost to attend is $2, but if you want the privilege of getting the best records you'll have to pay $5 to arrive before noon.  Doors open at 11:00 a.m.
