An Alternative Valentine's Day

We've already posted our restaurant recommendations and gift ideas for a traditional Valentine's Day here in Penn Quarter.  But there's a lot beyond dinner you might want to consider.

• Crimes of Passion at the Crime and Punishment Museum.  You'll be handcuffed to your significant other as you tour the museum and hear stories like the "Valentine's Vampire." February 10-14.  $45 per couple.  ($46 if you want to upgrade to furry handcuffs!)
• Date Night at Bar Method.  Couples work out at the barre together and then stay for beer, wine and snacks after class.  Friday, February 10th at 6:30p.  $20 per couple if you're both new students.

Single?  Professionals in the City is hosting a mixer at Greene Turtle on Valentine's Day.  February 14th from 7-10p.  $10 if you purchase tickets by Friday February 3.  Call (202) 686-5990 for tickets.
