Superbowl Celebrations

The Redskins have been out of contention for months now, but if you're still in the football party spirit, here are some local events and watering holes you might try:

• Riot Act is the site of 106.7 The Fan's Big Game Party.  There will be Caps ticket giveaways each quarter, a $1,000 giveaway at halftime, and the final giveaway of the Ford F-150 as part of The Fan's Pigskin Pickup Contest.  Doors open at 4p, and there will be a 60' screen and two 30' screens downstairs.
• Capitol City Brewing Company is having a "colossal" Super Bowl party.  Food and drink specials begin at 4p and are available until closing.  
• Other good go-to-places for watching the game (no word on whether they'll be running specials):  Redline, Grand Slam, Iron Horse,  Greene Turtle, and Bar Louie.
