Be VERY careful.
The snow has been coming down too fast for plows to have any meaningful impact. Even the President had to sit in traffic for an hour as D.C. was locked in gridlock.
Be careful of sidewalks, too. We saw many businesses shoveling their side walks tonight, but there are still several bad patches. The watery snow runoff could also freeze and turn into ice.
You can track the progress of D.C. snow plows and salt trucks here.
Although it is continually changing, Penn Quarter is largely salted right now, with plows catching up.
