14th Street is an absolute disaster today

Steer clear of 14th Street today if you can.  There was a very large pothole earlier today that has closed 14th Street between F and G Streets.  At last check, the street was still closed.

Traffic police are directing traffic at all the intersections approaching 14th Street, which is causing residual delays on F Street, G Street, 15th Street, and 13th Street.  The delays on F and G streets is also causing delays on the numbered streets that run into those from 9th to 15th.

The pothole is also causing water to spill into 14th and F streets and run down the street, which is causing some water buildup that is routing traffic to one lane.
