New market coming to 5th and I streets

A new open-air market is coming to 5th and I Streets.  Unlike the Penn Quarter Farmer's Market, this market will focus more on crafts and works of art.  The market will also be open all weekend (Saturday & Sunday) each and every week.  It will set up in a parking lot near City Vista.

MV Triangle Blog reports that the organization running the market is the same one that ran a two-week market at the Convention Center lot (soon to be City Center).

The market begins the weekend of April 2, 2011.
