Hill Country surprise opening tonight?

After Hill Country's soft opening the last two nights was cancelled due to construction delays, we wondered when the place is going to open.  It certainly has looked set-up, with condiments and paper towels on the table already.

The Washington Post reported the restaurant was to open on March 12th, but a construction worker told Penn Quarter Insider it would be March 17th.

Last night, the neon signs were up and on at Hill Country.  Even the TV was on inside and the place was bustling with people.  It looked like they were maybe training staff inside.

Maybe they will skip the soft opening and go ahead and open on the 12th as scheduled?  A retweet by Hill Country on March 9th seems to indicate they might:

But to contradict that (and the construction worker), musician Tod Ellsworth put on facebook that is playing at the grand opening of Hill Country tonight:

Could Hill Country be surprising us with an early opening tonight?  And with Bob Schieffer?  It certainly looks possible . . .
