Rosa Mexicano to open a second D.C. location

Rosa Mexicano, a long-time staple on F Street, is opening a new location in Friendship Heights.

The new location, according to CityBiz, will be over 7,300 square feet in the ground level retail space of an office building.

"Because we perceived the Chevy Chase sit-down restaurant marketplace as under-served in the mid-priced category, we specifically targeted Rosa Mexicano to fill this void," explained Stephen Combs, Principal with KLNB Retail.

The restaurant is expected to open in November.  It will be the third in D.C. area (though the second in D.C., the other is in National Harbor, MD) and the 13th nationwide.
