Esquire names Fiola best new restaurant

Washingtonian Magazine reports that Esquire Magazine has come out with a list of the best restaurants across the country -- and Penn Quarter's Fiola made the list.

Esquire says the space that Fiola fills used to be though of as jinxed - but is jinxed no more.

"After his cucina nuova effusions of the past, [Chef Fabio] Trabocchi has gone retro, infusing classic Italian dishes with his own sense of the sublime," says Esquire.

  1. Way to go FIOLA! It is great to have a new "power lunch" spot right down the street from Capitol Hill and the courthouses. Fabulous food, fast, great service...very polished yet has a sense of fun. Have had many clients and business lunches here already!
