Halloween Festivities in Penn Quarter

Downtown D.C. Kids has compiled a number of activities for Penn Quarter children on the Saturday before Halloween.

First, there is Trick-or-Treating, Halloween stories, and a party at the Martin Luther King Library at 9th and G streets.  That goes from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and there will also be coloring and crafts.

That is followed by a parade between the library and Calvary Baptist Church (755 8th Street N.W.).  This parade of dressed up children should be entertaining, and hopefully will go better than last year's, which happened during the Rally to Restore Sanity.

Then there is a Halloween party at Calvary Baptist Church from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.  There will be a moon bounce, a costume contest, games, crafts, and fun.
