Less than a week ago, we noted that the Daikaya space was still an empty lot. Today, Douglas Development answered by saying that Daikaya will "tentatively open in late Spring/early Summer 2012."
Assuming that means June, Daikaya has only four months to build a building, get it zoned correctly (which is apparently the current hold up), and do the kitchen build out. Frankly, we're skeptical.
