"Badlands" to Film at the Crime & Punishment Museum

"Badlands" doesn't have a cast or a network yet, but it does have a city.  Councilman Vincent Orange announced today that DC would be home for the new television show, which describes itself as a crime/mob thriller set in a fictional city.

Badlands is partnering with the Crime and Punishment Museum right here in Penn Quarter.  The Museum is fully equipped as a production house from its days producing America's Most Wanted.

Even without a cast (Director A.J. Kparr has revealed he's gunning for Gabrielle Union as the lead, though), Kparr indicated that filming could begin as early as May.
