A new Smithsonian museum breaks ground today at 14th and Constitution: the
National Museum for African American History and Culture.
Though the ceremony isn't open to the public, you can catch the
podcast here until 11:30a.
Construction begins today and will continue through 2015, so don't make your plans to visit just yet. In fact, today you'll be forced to reroute around the site. DDOT believes the streets will reopen at about noon today:
